Fire Damages Self-Inspected Property

Carencro, Louisiana - In late November 201, The Daily Advertiser reported that a fire damaged either units in a townhouse complex in Carencro. The complex had had its fire extinguishers and fire alarms annually inspected in February by the complex owner, who told investigators that any problems he had noticed were corrected. During the fire event, however, residents reported that the extinguishers they tries to use did not work properly. It is unclear whether this was from a lack of user-end knowledge or it the extinguishers themselves were not functional.
