Inspection and Testing of Automatic Fire Sprinkler and Standpipe Systems  The Fire Inspectors Perspective    The class will review the requirements of the New Jersey Uniform Fire Code and N.F.P.A. 25-02 that apply to the inspection, testing and maintenance of automatic sprinkler and standpipe systems. The program will also review the requirements of the NJUFC Subchapter IV (retro-fit requirements) for windowless stories and basements and review the requirements for sprinkler systems in residential occupancies. The expectations of the Authority Having Jurisdiction will be discussed throughout the class. Instructor: Fire Official Paul Dansbach Former Chief and Current Fire Marshall of the Boro of Rutherford. Paul is a Fire Instructor at the Bergen County Fire Academy and teaches C.E.U. classes for Fire Inspectors, Fire Subcode & Building Subcode Officials for Kean and Rutgers University. He is an editorial advisor for Fire Engineering Magazine and an advisory board member of FDIC and a member of the NJ Fire Safety Commission's Code Advisory Council.                                                                                                COST $125.00 Cost includes a continental breakfast and lunch.
